Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Crescent Rolls

Crescent Rolls, such versatile dough! Great for salty and sweet treats and snacks for just about everyone.  This time, I made Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Crescent Rolls.  So easy. So tasty. So simple.   Only three ingredients. Have you got them at home? (very possible!)  Ingredients : 1 can of Pillsbury's Crescent Rolls Miniature Marshmallows Creamy Peanut Butter  Steps : (this treat can be made by your little ones too!)  Preheat the oven according to instructions on the can.  Spread the rolls in a pan.  Spread peanut butter (pb) on the rolls with a spatula.  Put marshmallows on top of peanut butter.  Roll up the crescent rolls.  Bake for 7 minutes or until dough looks golden brown. Mmm so gooey!

Pumpkin Wand Tutorial

Here is a tutorial for a Pumpkin Wand that can easily be used for making any type of wands to add the finishing touch to your costumes. (Princesses, Queens, etc).  Wands are so fun, right? And really they light up any little girls faces.  Alright, here we go: Materials :  2 pieces of pumpkin foam shapes. (or you could draw your own out of foam) 1 wood dowel Hot Glue Green and orange Ribbon Green Tulle Steps :  Cut green pieces of ribbon and glue them onto the pumpkins so that they'll be hanging off the wand. Decorate the ribbons as desired. Decorate the dowel so that it's smoother on your lil' ones hands.  -  I used green tulle and wrapped it around the dowel in a swirling motion.   Fill in the gaps with orange ribbon by wrapping it around the dowel. Glue the pumpkins together, keeping the dowel sandwiched in between the shapes. All done!   Now find someone to charm with your wand.  Happy Crafting!

Changes and Updates

It's time I give my lil' blog a little makeover. It's much over due. That'll be just between you and me. I really do have some super fun stuff in the works and want to share it with all of you. I apologize for not having a more specific blogging schedule, but that will change. I will have regular posts. Just like my kids have regular schedules, my blog needs to have a set schedule also. Right? After all, Fabi's Crafty Place is another little baby for me that needs nurture. :P I sound like a Mom. I promise I'll try my best not to bore you. By the way, did you notice the Pinterest button on the right side? (That's where I've been hiding for some time, ha!) I am also adding a FB page so that it'll be easier to follow updates and cool stuff from the web there.  Hope to see you all around! <3 Fabi

Caramel Apple Bread Pudding

Although I am a huge chocolate fan, I wanted to find a dessert that didn't involve any chocolate and that would still be heart-warming, enjoyable on a cold day. I had also recently bought a set of ramekins for warm desserts, so when I saw this recipe, I showed it to my Hubby and he made it for me. A friend came to visit me while he was busy in the kitchen making sure he was following every step of the recipe. [This recipe is from Martha Steward's website found here ] This is the deliciousness he made for me: Caramel Apple Bread Pudding Entry # 2 Ingredients: (makes 4) ·          2 Granny Smith apples, unpeeled and cut into matchsticks ·          Juice of 1 lemon ·          1 tablespoon unsalted butter, room temperature ·          1 day-old 8-ounce loaf brioche ---- (substituted with Hawaiian rolls)  ·          1 1/4 cups heavy cream ·          3 large eggs ·          1/2 cup sugar ·          1/2 teaspoon salt ·          2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract ·
